Today saw the launch of iTunes in Asia store making it available for music, films and more to be delivered. Content will now also be available in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Brunei and Sri Lanka.
Here at Horus Music we’re proud that we’re one of the first companies to deliver direct to iTunes in Asia. Music that has already been delivered will be re-distributed with immediate effect and new content will be available there too. This is a huge step for us and a milestone in our goal of making music more widely available.
CEO of Horus Music, Nick Dunn states “Asia is an amazing and exciting market with a huge potential for artists. We’ve been supplying music to local stores in Japan and China for sometime and many of our artists have enjoyed the benefits of that. Asia is a high growth market so we’re very excited to be a part of iTunes expansion to this area. Piracy is of concern in some countries but I believe our partnership with Apple iTunes is one of the best ways of protecting our artists and ensuring music is made available to the wider world at reasonable prices.”
Horus Music takes pride in looking after its artists and ensuring good quality product is being supplied to our partners. It’s because of this kind of attention to detail that Horus Music are direct suppliers to iTunes. This allows our artists to have one of the best deals around for selling their music on the iTunes stores. We are dedicated to growing our network to provide the widest distribution opportunities for our artists.
