In celebration of our upcoming 10th birthday in August 2016, we are expanding our business and homing in on the lucrative Indian market by opening a new branch of the company with an office in Mumbai. We are excited to announce the opening of Horus Music India.
We realised there was lots of potential for us in India, which was ignored by many of our competitors. After a successful trade mission in 2014, we then decided to make the most of our time and connections there. We look forward to making India a permanent home for Horus Music.
CEO Nick Dunn and Business Development Manager Nina Condron spent November and December 2015 in India. They finalised contracts with many digital partners, including Hungama, Gaana, Saavn and VuClip. The team also made many new friends and memories.
Horus Music India is Now Open
Horus Music India will employ staff from the local area so that we are always able to have a man-on-the-ground. We will also tailor our services to suit the Indian market. We discovered the importance of face-to-face interactions in the area during our time there and is something that we now beginning to implement. We’ve already seen how these relationships have lead to more promotional opportunities for our clients.
Nick added that trade missions such these have given Horus Music invaluable insight into the way other markets work. He said: “We spotted some great opportunities for us in India and we are really looking forward to expanding our business over there, as well as making it a permanent home for Horus Music.”
We’re looking forward to many more years of success in India, and elsewhere.
