Job Brief:
To gain experience in the music industry, understand the business and absorb as much as you can. During your time here you will gain knowledge of the company processes that enable us to distribute audio and video releases to over 200 stores worldwide, learn about metadata and get hands on experience in dealing with both artists and labels.
While our focus is on digital music distribution, there are lots of other relevant opportunities that are available. You will gain broad and real life experiences in many areas of the music industry to help you with your future career. You will be provided with plenty of opportunities to learn and develop and we will teach you skills exercised within the digital music space.
Main Purposes of the Job:
- To be fully equipped to deal with distributing clients releases in a timely manner.
- To gain hands on experience within the music industry.
- Be an active member of the distribution team.
- Improve on knowledge of the music industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn the distribution process from artist, to store, to consumer– including the handling of metadata.
- Develop your communication and interpersonal skills through liaising with clients.
- Answer incoming calls and answer customer questions.
- Deal with customer email queries.
- Network with industry professionals and grow your own network of contacts.
- Raise tickets with digital platforms.
- Check releases online.
- Work with digital platforms, staff and clients for marketing of releases.

Staff/Equipment Responsibilities:
- Security of work files and any other reverent confidential content.
- Logging in hours worked accurately via Bitrix24 or any other system the company may introduce or use.
