Client Services Representative – Latin America
Location: Latin America (Remote)
Reports to: Head of Client Services / Territory Manager
Position Type: Full-Time
The Role:
This is a balanced operational and client-facing position within a music distribution environment.
As Client Services Representative – Latin America, you will:
- Oversee ingestion, processing, quality control, and delivery of digital assets
- Manage release workflows from submission through to platform delivery
- Act as a key contact for regional artists and labels
- Resolve operational issues, technical queries, and client complaints
You must have a solid understanding of the music industry and digital distribution landscape, including how releases move from submission to DSP delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Asset Processing & Delivery
- Manage ingestion of digital assets including audio, video, metadata, artwork, and associated content
- Conduct detailed quality control checks to ensure compliance with platform specifications
- Oversee accurate processing and timely delivery of releases to DSPs and digital platforms
- Monitor release schedules and troubleshoot ingestion or delivery errors
- Ensure metadata accuracy and compliance with industry standards
- Maintain structured internal records of submissions, amendments, and updates
Client Services & Industry Support
- Act as a primary contact for Latin American artists, labels, and partners
- Guide clients through release setup and digital distribution processes
- Provide informed support based on knowledge of industry standards and platform requirements
- Respond to queries regarding royalties, reporting, release timelines, and delivery status
- Manage client expectations while adhering to operational processes
- Build strong working relationships with regional contacts for DSPs (Spotify, Apple, YouTube, Claro Música, Deezer, Amazon etc.).
Requests, Issues & Complaints
- Investigate and resolve client complaints professionally and efficiently
- Manage escalations relating to delivery delays, content claims, takedowns, metadata disputes, or reporting discrepancies
- Communicate clearly and confidently during issue resolution
- Balance strong relationship management with compliance and platform policies
Skills & Experience (Required):
- Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken) – essential
- Portuguese language skills – highly desirable (not essential)
- 1+ year experience within the music industry (distribution, label, rights management, DSP, or similar)
- Understanding of digital music distribution workflows and release processes
- Experience handling digital asset processing, metadata, or delivery systems
- Experience managing customer queries and resolving complaints professionally
- Strong attention to detail and administrative accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple releases and deadlines simultaneously
- Organised, structured, and solution-oriented
Desirable (But Not Essential):
- Experience working directly with DSP platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, and Deezer
- Knowledge of content ID, rights management, and takedown processes
- Experience supporting video distribution
- Existing network within the Latin American music industry
